Speaking at the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce

I was fortunate enough to speak at the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce recently with my partner, Maria Schwartz. We spoke with small business owners about legal documents that people in business need to think about creating to not only help them succeed, but to give them peace of mind. We spoke about the importance of creating the proper corporate documents when they set up their company. They should have documents which spell out the relationships between partners and succession when partners retire or pass away. We also spoke about asset protection as well as how to properly document their contracts with their customers - What to include in an invoice and provisions which give their contracts teeth. It was a great breakfast meeting with over 30 people in attendance.
